Bristol Fire Destroys Shed, Knocks Down Wires

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A fire Thursday afternoon in Bristol Township destroyed a shed and knocked down power and cable wires in the area.

Firefighters were called at 4:55 p.m. to Sugarmaple Lane in Bristol, according to Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito. A shed on the property was destroyed by the blaze and PECO and Comcast wires were brought down, he said.

Heat from the fire also damaged the siding on the property owner's home and a neighbor's shed.

Investigators were still working to determine the cause of the blaze late Thursday.

Responders from Edgely, Levittown No. 2, Third District, Bristol Township Police and Bristol Township Fire were on the scene
