Bucks Mother Killed In Train Crash Was Sons' No. 1 Fan
A GoFundMe page has been launched to help the three boys of Jessica Haley, the Levittown mother killed while operating an NJ Transit train.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Jessica Haley's three sons were her world.
The 41-year-old single Levittown mother who was killed earlier this month while operating an NJ Transit train loved the martial arts and passed that love on to her sons, said the organizer of a GoFundMe page launched to support the boys.
"Being Mom was a title she carried with such pride and her whole life was wrapped in those three," said Jeffrey Jones, who organized the fundraiser on behalf of Michelle McCurdy.

The GoFundMe page has reached over $20,000 of its $30,000 goal.
Haley was killed while operating the New Jersey Transit River Line train on Oct. 14 when a large tree that had fallen onto the track was struck by the train, according to Anapol Weiss, the law firm representing her family.

A southbound River Line train hit a large tree fragment as it approached Roebling Station in Florence. Haley was killed, and 23 passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The remaining 19 passengers were unhurt.
The accident is an absolute devastation for many, specifically her three boys who were her world," Jones said.
Jones said that Haley was a part of the martial arts community at Tri-State Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts for over 16 years.
She trained herself as well as her three boys, two of which have reached black belt status, Jones said.
"Anyone who knew Jessica knew her to always be positive and smiling. She worked hard and loved sharing her love of martial arts with her boys. Above all, Jessica was the best mom. She was often found in our chairs watching her oldest train, with her youngest on her lap," Jones said.
"We ask that you consider donating to her family to help aid in this real-life nightmare; now with unexpected funeral expenses and a future for her boys without their No. 1 fan," Jones said.
