Construction Starting on Bristol Pike

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Various construction activities will start Tuesday on U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) in Bristol Township and Bristol Borough, PennDOT said.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that the work will occur at the U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) and the Beaver Dam Road/Beaver Street intersection under a $7.5 million project to install safety enhancements to improve travel and reduce high-speed crashes across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

• Tuesday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a periodic lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) between the Beaver Dam Road/Beaver Street Intersection and Green Lane for sign, delineator, and pavement marking installation.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.

Kuharchik Construction, Inc. of Exeter, Pennsylvania, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent federal funds.
