Fairless Hills Giant Store Donates Nearly $22K To Food Bank
Donations from customers went to Mary's Cupboard and were part of Giant's Bag Hunger campaign.

FAIRLESS HILLS, PA — A Levittown food bank got a nearly $22,000 donation recently thanks to customers of the Giant Food Store in Fairless Hills.
Giant's Bag Hunger campaign ran from Feb. 24 thru March 9 across all of its 172 stores, raising what the company said was a record-breaking $794,037 to fight hunger. At the Fairless Hills store, customers and employees donated $21,966 for Mary's Cupboard, a food pantry on Levittown Parkway.
Bag Hunger runs twice a year at Giant stores. During the campaigns, customers donate to local food banks during check-out. Funds collected go to more than 100 pantries.

Under the guidance of Catholic Social Services, Mary's Cupboard works to make sure low-income households in Bucks County have access to resources for food and basic nutritional needs.
