Fallsington Library Summer Series Kicks Off June 22

Story-telling, handmade crafts, interactive science experiments, a visiting zoo and a concert combined with a fitness program are featured in a summer reading program for young patrons and their caregivers at Fallsington Library Company.

Beginning June 22, Storytime for all ages up to 8 years old will be held on Friday mornings from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. through July 27.

Crafts Nights, on Wednesdays from 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. starting June 27 until July 25, are appropriate for all ages and participants will get to make take-home crafts and share stories.

As part of these programs, recommended books and other reading materials related to the theme of each event will be available to those taking part.

Highlights of a Science in the Summer series include fun, interactive science experiments for children ages six to ten on Tuesdays, June 19 and 26 and July 10 and 17, from 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Other events for youngsters and their families at the library this summer include a traveling zoo called Eyes of the Wild with exotic animals from every continent on Wednesday, July 11 at 7 p.m.; Magic Show with a magician on Thursday, July 12 at 7 p.m.; and Miss Yvonne & Lolly: Let’s Play Together Bunch, a concert and fitness program, on Wednesday, August 29 at 7 p.m.

All these events are free and pre-registration is not required.
