Charity Ball Supports Muscular Dystrophy Association
January 11, 2015, Langhorne, PA— Motorcycle enthusiasts, business owners, and members of the community are suiting up in ‘black’ ties and ‘blue’ jeans to celebrate Brian’s Harley Davidson’s 9th Annual Black and Blue Ball. The charity event, which supports The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), is on Saturday, March 19, 6:30 to 11:30 p.m., The Heroes Ballroom, FOP Lodge #5, 11630 Caroline Road, Philadelphia, PA.
Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, full course dinner, silent and live auctions, DJ dance party, and performance by Motivational Speaker and Comedian, Brett Leake. Leake was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy in 1991. Cost is $130 per person.
Harley Davidson Dealership Owner Brian Bentley is hoping to inspire other businesses to get involved by donating goods and services to auction at his benefit this spring. The benefit already received a few gifts, including a pair of $1,000 diamond earrings. Doylestown Gold Exchange and J.S. Roberts Jewelers will hide the single pair of expensive earrings among 50 glasses of champagne, 49 of which will contain identical $30 cubic zirconia earrings. Party-goers can try their luck purchasing Champaign throughout the night. “We hope when businesses like this are considering their 2016 charitable-giving, they’ll consider supporting these kids,” says Bentley.
