Highland Road Closing For 2 Weeks In Middletown Twp.
PennDOT said drainage repairs will have a section of the road shut during weekdays starting Tuesday. Find out the detours below.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —Motorists should expect to take detours over the next two weeks as a section of Highland Road will be closed for drainage repairs, PennDOT said.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Tuesday, Sept. 5, through Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Highland Avenue will be closed weekdays between Avenue F and Hulmeville Road in Middletown Township for drainage repairs. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Avenue F, Poplar Street, and Hulmeville Road.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that local access will be maintained up to the work zones.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
