I-95, I-295 Lane Closures In Bucks Co. Continue Next Week
Two lanes will be closed in both directions for the work, which will start Monday evening, according to PennDOT.

LEVITTOWN, PA — Overnight lane closures on Interstate 95 and Interstate 295 in Bucks County will continue next week as crews work to repair and resurface 13 miles of highway.
Two lanes will be closed in both directions between the Academy Road and Rt. 413 interchanges for the work in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield, PennDOT announced Thursday.
The work schedule is as follows:

- Monday, Oct. 1, through Friday, Oct. 5, from 7 p.m.-5 a.m., double lanes will be closed on northbound I-95 and eastbound I-295 between the Rt. 132 (Street Road) and Rt. 413 (Bristol) interchanges for paving.
- Monday, Oct. 1, through Friday, Oct. 5, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., double lanes will be closed on northbound I-95 between the Academy Road and Rt. 132 (Street Road) interchanges for joint sealing.
- Monday, Oct. 1, through Friday, Oct. 5, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., double lanes will be closed on westbound I-295 and southbound I-95 between the Rt. 413 (Bristol) and Academy Road interchanges for subbase installation.
Also, single lane closures will be in place on northbound and southbound I-95 between Academy Road and the Pennsylvania Turnpike interchanges on Monday, Oct. 1, through Thursday, Oct. 4, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for guide rail installation.
Anyone who can't avoid the area during those times is advised to allow extra time for travel because "significant backups and delays will occur," according to PennDOT. The schedule is weather-dependent.

The entire project is scheduled to be completed this fall.
