Interstate 295 Bridge Repairs Start Overnight

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Bridge repairs will take place at night this week on Interstate 295, PennDOT said.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the bridge repairs will happen in Middletown Township.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

• Monday, Jan. 27, through Thursday, Jan. 30, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on eastbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1 for bridge repair.
• Wednesday, Jan. 29, through Friday, Jan. 31, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on westbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1 for bridge repair.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
