Interstate 295 Overnight Bridge Repairs Begin

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —Repairs to the Interstate 295 bridge begin overnight starting Monday, PennDOT said.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

• Monday, Sept. 23, through Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on eastbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1.
• Wednesday, September 25, through Friday, September 27, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on westbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
