Interstate 295 Overnight Road Work To Shut Lanes

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Overnight roadwork is planned on a stretch of Interstate 295 this week, PennDOT said.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said concrete roadway repair will start Monday and last for the week, causing lane closures on Interstate 295 in Middletown Township.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Monday, Sept. 30, through Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 9 p.m. to 5 p.m. the following morning, a lane closure will occur on westbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 2, through Friday, Oct. 4, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on eastbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
