Lane Closures Scheduled On ​I-95, I-295 In Bucks County

Overnight lane closures are scheduled next week on I-95 and I-295 in Bucks County. According to PennDOT, drivers will encounter single and double overnight lane closures next week between the Academy Road and Route 413 (Bristol) interchanges starting Monday, Aug. 27 and going through Thursday, Aug. 30.

The lane closures will be in place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Crews will be doign sub-base installation and paving operations as part of a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 and I-295 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships.

Here is the work schedule:

• Double lane closures will be in place on northbound I-95 and eastbound I-295 between the Route 132 (Street Road) and Route 413 (Bristol) interchanges for paving operations.
• A single left lane closure will be in place on westbound I-295 and southbound I-95 between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Academy Road interchanges for sub-base installation.
• Double lane closures will be in place on westbound I-295 and southbound I-95 between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Route 132 (Street Road) interchanges for paving operations.

The contractor’s schedule is weather dependent.
