Levittown Dad Convicted Of Manslaughter In Son's Death

Coco Wallace was convicted of involuntary manslaughter charges but not murder in the death of his 2 year old son last year.

A Levittown man whose son died last fall after taking a fatal overdose of Oxycodone was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter Friday after a two-day trial.

According to a report by the Bucks County Courier Times, Judge Wallace H. Bateman Jr. said there was not enough evidence to convict Coco Wallace of murder.

Coco Wallace was arrested last year by Middletown Township Police and charged with criminal homicide, recklessly endangering another person, endangering the welfare of a child and possession of a controlled substance in connection with the 2-year-old’s death.

Toxicology tests following the toddler’s death found he had ingested three times the level of Oxycodone that would kill the average adult, authorities said.

Wallace will be sentenced in 30 days and faces a maximum sentence of five to 10 years, the Courier Times reported.
