Lower Bucks Man Injured In Fatal Montco Crash

A Levittown man's truck was hit Monday on the Route 202 Parkway in Montgomery County. Two women were killed in the crash.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —A Levittown man was injured in Monday's crash on the Route 202 Parkway in nearby Montgomery County that killed two women, authorities said.

The 44-year-old Levittown man, whom the Montgomery Township Police Department did not identify, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Grand View Hospital, police said.

The man was driving a commercial vehicle northbound when a southbound vehicle, a 2016 Toyota Rav4, crossed over the lane and hit the man's red 2021 Peterbilt, which had a 2006 Ford Mustang fall off the that had fallen off the four-car hauler.

The Toyota struck the driver’s-side front corner of the Peterbilt in a head-on collision, according to a police preliminary investigation.

A woman from Ambler and a woman from King of Prussia were killed in the crash.

The driver of the Toyota, a 50-year-old woman from King of Prussia, was ejected from her vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Her passenger, an 86-year-old woman from Ambler, was also declared deceased after being extricated by firefighters, Montgomery Township Police said in a press release.

The Route 202 Parkway was closed in both directions until 7:52 p.m. Monday as crews worked to process and clear the scene. The accident between Horsham Road and County Line Road was first reported at 11:27 a.m. Monday.
