Man Killed In Bristol Pedestrian Crash

BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA — A 46-year-old man was killed Friday when he was hit by a vehicle while walking across Rt. 13 in Bristol Borough.

Police say Hilbrand Wesselius was dead when officers arrived at the scene shortly after 5:39 a.m. on Friday. The driver of the vehicle that hit him, a 29-year-old man, stopped and stayed at the scene, borough police said.

Police say investigators learned that Wesselius was crossing the highway outside of a crosswalk and that the driver had a green light when the crash happened. Police ask anyone with information about the incident to contact Sgt. Faight at 215-788-7814, Ext. 2429.
