Man Killed, Woman Hurt In Bristol Motorcycle Crash
Police say the man failed to negotiate a curve and slammed into a tree and two utility poles at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A man was killed and his female passenger was sent to the hospital Saturday when the motorcycle they were riding crashed in Bristol Township.
According to police, the crash happened at about 3:30 a.m. on Newportville Road near Maple Avenue.
A preliminary investigation showed that the man was driving the motorcycle northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve and the bike fell on its side, slide off of the roadway and hit a tree and two utility poles, police said.

The motorcycle's driver was a 34-year-old man from Philadelphia and his passenger was a 35-year-old woman, also from Philadelphia, police said. They had not publicly identified the two as of Monday morning.
The woman was taken to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital for treatment.
