Man Stole 73 Cars, Scrapped Them At Bucks County Yard: Report

The Falls Township scrap yard, which was not identified in the report, has since been shut down.

A New Jersey man was arrested this week for stealing 73 cars that were eventually scrapped in a Bucks County wrecking yard, according to a report by the Trentonian.

Ramon Reimer, 38, of Trenton is facing 73 counts of theft for stealing more than $100,000 worth of cars and scrapping them in Morrisville, the report said.

The arrest followed a 12-week long investigation, which involved local law enforcement, including Morrisville Borough Police and Falls Township Police.

Trenton detectives told the Trentonian Reimer was arrested after a woman’s car was located by LoJack at the Morrisville scrap yard, which knowingly wrote checks to Reimer for the stolen cars. The scrap yard, which has not been identified, has been shut down, the report said.
