Mechanic Dies After Car Falls On Top of Him

A mechanic employed by Negrete’s Auto was killed after a car that he was working on fell on top of him Monday, Bensalem Police said.

According to Bensalem Police, the employee, who has not been identified by authorities, was working on a car when a jack stand collapsed, causing the vehicle to fall on top of him.

The employee was pronounced dead at the scene.

Negrete’s Auto is located at 4001 Bristol Pike.

OSHA has been notified to assist with the investigation, police said.
