Memorial Day Parade Parking Restrictions Issued In Penndel

PENNDEL BOROUGH, PA —With the annual Penndel-Hulmeville Memorial Day Parade on Saturday, the Penndel Borough Police Department is instituting some parking restrictions.

Police said no on-street parking will be allowed on most of Bellevue Avenue, Hulmeville Avenue, and West Woodland Avenue between 6 a.m. and Noon.

The areas where there is no parking will be posted, police said.

All vehicular traffic not attending the parade are urged to avoid the area Saturday morning to ease the traffic flow burden on the borough.

The parade will march onto Ford Avenue and then turn right onto Main. It will follow Main to Hulme Avenue and Hulme to Bellevue, where it will pause at the memorial for a prayer before continuing to Woodland, then to Hulmeville Road.

The parade ends at the Penndel Memorial Ball Field. A reviewing stand will be set up at the end of the parade featuring parade officials and honored guests.
