Mother, 2 Kids Injured In Tullytown Boiler Explosion

Several Lower Bucks fire companies responded to the fire Friday night in which the three were injured in their Stream Lane home.

TULLYTOWN, PA —A mother and her two children were injured following an explosion in their home on Friday night, authorities said.

Emergency Alerts of Southeastern Pennsylvania reported the fire happened around 7:15 p.m. at 61 Stream Lane.

A mother and her two children were in the home at the time and were taken to area hospitals for unknown injuries, authorities said.

Their conditions have not yet been released.

Numerous fire crews from Lower Bucks County responded to the fire, including the Edgely Fire Company and Levittown Fire Company No. 2.

Tullytown Fire Marshall David Pearl told KYW News Radio that there was no active fire at the home near Levittown Parkway and that the boiler explosion did not spread outside of the house.

Pearl said the fire is under investigation but he believed a heater was possibly responsible for the explosion.
