Mural Painting Promoting Love Planned Saturday In Falls Township

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA —L.O.V.E. Is The Answer.

And that answer will be displayed Saturday when the Falls Township Police Department along with volunteers from Pennsbury High School and three area artists gather to paint and put the finishing touches on a mural that will be located at Falls Township Community Park on Mill Creek Road.

Several months ago, the department was chosen by The Peace Center as the second Bucks County law enforcement agency to create the mural, Sgt. Christopher Clark said.

"We are very grateful to have been selected by The Peace Center for the honor of joining this movement," Clark said.

The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The public is welcome to join police, students and artists to paint the mural, learn more about the movement and see the grand unveiling.

Anyone interested in attending is asked to enter the park through the Wheatsheaf Road entrance. Park security officers will be available to assist with directions.

L.O.V.E. Is The Answer is a growing nationwide movement created by internationally known A.J. Ali, an actor, television host, director, producer and writer.

His latest award-winning film, "Walking While Black: L.O.V.E. Is The Answer," and his new book, L.O.V.E. Is The Answer, are helping to improve relations between police and people of color nationwide, and are used in workshops and other training programs that he developed.
