Neshaminy High School Closed Tuesday Due To Coronavirus Exposure
Neshaminy High will be closed Tuesday after a student was in direct contact with a healthcare provider who tested positive for COVID-19.
MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Neshaminy High School will be closed Tuesday after a student was in direct contact with a healthcare provider at a Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia facility in King of Prussia who later tested positive for the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19.
"As a precaution, the Bucks County Health Department has requested the student and two family members quarantine themselves at home," the Neshaminy School District said.
During the closure, the school will be thoroughly cleaned. All afternoon and evening activities are also canceled Tuesday

The doctor, a cardiologist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's King of Prussia outpatient facility in King of Prussia, had direct contact with multiple children, officials said.
He is now in critical condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Officials did not release his age.
