LANGHORNE, PA —The Neshaminy School District continues to revamp its administration.

Klahold comes to Neshaminy from a similar position at Pottsgrove School District, said Chris Stanley, the school district's director of communications.

In December, the school board elevated Jason M. Bowman from substitute superintendent to acting superintendent.

Bowman replaced Superintendent Rob McGee, who retired in August after 36 years with the school district.

McGee was placed on administrative leave last February in an agenda line item vote by the school board. School officials have never commented on why that decision was made.

School Board Director Applications Sought

Meanwhile, the school district continues to seek applications to fill a school board vacancy, Stanley said.

School Director Cyndie Bowman resigned earlier this month.

The school board has set a deadline for the submission of letters of interest and/or resumes to be considered for the appointment of the vacancy from Region 1 on the Board of Directors by no later than 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30.

The letters should be sent to: Neshaminy School District, Superintendent’s Office, Attn: Board President, c/o Board Secretary, 2250 Langhorne-Yardley Road, Langhorne, PA 19047.

Interviews of candidates (if deemed necessary by the Board) and the appointment is expected to take place at the school board's 7 p.m. meeting on Feb. 6, at the Neshaminy School District Administrative Offices Board Room, Maple Point Middle School Complex, 2250 Langhorne-Yardley Road, Langhorne, PA 19047.
