Pennsbury Takes Precautions For ICE Walkout Friday

High school students are staging a protest about ICE activity. The school district said that "rumors are circulating on social media."

FAIRLESS HILLS, PA — The Pennsbury School District is taking precautions ahead of an ICE protest by high school students on Friday due to some social media reports.

In an email to Pennsbury High School families, Schools Superintendent Thomas A. Smith and High School Campus Principal Reggie Meadows have decided to move the planned student-led protest indoors.

School officials said all students will be transported across campus via shuttle bus during class changes.

School officials said district security and the Falls Township Police Department will maintain a strong presence on the PHS campus throughout the school day.
