With Rowan and his 9-year-old sister Aubrey away at school, Rowan's parents Kristen and Gary —along with nearly two dozen Phillies front office employees —turned his bedroom into a newly decorated Phillies-themed bedroom.
The room now features red pinstripes, a giant Bryce Harper banner, baseball photo cards, and a Phillies cap wall.
The makeover was in partnership with the J Foundation, which provides assistance to families with terminally ill children, and is how the Phillies learned about Rowan.
The event was in advance of last Saturday’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Night, presented by Nemours Children’s Health, at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
