Police ID Vandals Who Damaged Quaker Penn Park

Falls Township Police thanked the public's for their help in identifying the owners of two vehicles that caused damage late last month.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA —The Falls Township Police Department has identified the vandals captured on video who damaged Quaker Penn Park late last month.

Falls Township Police recently provided an update that those responsible for the damage have been identified.

"We appreciate all of the shares and information leading to their identity," police said.

Police did not provide their identities or the charges that they will face.

Police had said they were seeking the public's help in identifying the owner/occupants of the vehicles captured on video around 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, for damaging the turf and fields of Quaker Penn Park.

Police said that anyone damaging the grass or fields of any township park violates the following Township Code: 168 Parks, 168-4 Motor Vehicles.

The code states that no motorized vehicles shall be operated on bike paths or grass areas. Unlicensed vehicles are prohibited. Parking shall be in designated areas only.

Any person who violates or permits a violation of this chapter shall be subject to a civil enforcement proceeding and, upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a civil penalty of not more than $600, plus all court costs, including reasonable attorney's fees, incurred by the township in the enforcement of this chapter.
