Boy, 11, Fired Handgun Into Levittown Home: Police
Bristol Township Police are investigating whether the 11-year-old middle school student had brought the handgun to school.
BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —An 11-year-old boy fired a handgun into his Levittown home while walking home from school Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Bristol Township Police responded to a home in the 100 block of Goldenridge Drive in Levittown at 4:08 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a bullet hole through an exterior wall into a bedroom, Lt. Sean Cosgrove said.
No one was injured.

After an investigation, police determined that an 11-year-old boy fired the shot.
At the time of the shooting, the boy was walking home from Benjamin Franklin Middle School, less than a half-mile away at 6400 Millcreek Rd.

After conducting various interviews and house checks, police were able to recover the firearm, a 380-caliber handgun, around 9 p.m.
Police and school administrators are still investigating whether the juvenile had the handgun during the school day.
The boy is under the supervision of The Bucks County Youth Center.
The Bristol Township Police Department increased its presence at township schools Wednesday as a precautionary measure.
Throughout this incident, members of the Bristol Township Police and Bristol Township School
District were cooperating, with the unified goal of a safe resolution.
