Police Release New Images Of Falls Twp. Bank Robber

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Falls Township are hoping a distinctive ball cap, a hand tattoo or some other detail will help them catch a man who robbed a bank in the spring.

At 4:37 p.m. on May 31, the man walked into the PNC Bank branch at 301 W. Trenton Ave., in the Morrisville section of Falls, according to township police. He gave the teller a note implying that he was armed and demanding money, police said.

The man then ran away, according to Falls Township Police Lt. Nelson Whitney. Officers from several agencies flooded the area, but were unable to find him.

On Monday, police released new images of the robber. They focused on a black cap he was wearing, which appears to feature images of several different people on it. They also shared an image of a tattoo on the man's hand.
