Road Resurfacing Starts on Levittown Parkway/Oxford Valley Road Monday
Lane closure in Tullytown, Falls and Bristol townships for milling and paving, PennDOT said. The work continues through Oct. 21.

LEVITTOWN, PA —Road resurfacing work will cause a lane closure on Levittown Parkway/Oxford Valley Road starting Monday, PennDOT has announced.
The lane closure is scheduled on Levittown Parkway/Oxford Valley Road between U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) and Hood Boulevard/Southway Drive in Tullytown, Falls and Bristol townships for milling and paving.
The work is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays and runs through Friday, Oct. 21.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the work is among projects in Bucks, Philadelphia, Delaware, and Montgomery counties starting this week for resurfacing operations to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highways in the region.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Under these resurfacing projects, PennDOT is milling the existing roadway surfaces and repaving the state highways with new asphalt. The new pavement will seal the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.
