Route 1 Traffic Pattern Changes Underway This Week
PennDOT said roadwork on Business Route 1 in Middletown Township will take place at night, starting on Monday.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Traffic patterns will change in both directions on Route 1 as PennDOT performs pipe replacement work at night this week.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that drainage pipe installation is planned at night on Old Lincoln Highway (Business U.S. 1) in Middletown Township under a $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of U.S. 1 in Bucks County.

- Monday, April 29, through Friday, May 3, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, periodic flagger-controlled lane closures with intermittent 15-minute stoppages are planned in both directions on Old Lincoln Highway (Business U.S. 1) between Harris Avenue and the U.S. 1 overpass.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
