Sports Authority Robbed Sunday: Police

The Sports Authority on East Lincoln Highway was robbed Sunday afternoon by a man showing an object that looked like a handgun, Middletown Township Police said.

According to police, a black male came into the store shortly after 4:30 p.m. and went to the front counter. He demanded money and showed an object that the victim described as handgun.

He made out with $250 in cash and then fled the store, police said.

No arrests have been made in conjunction with the robbery.
