Stormwater Replacement To Take Month In Middletown Twp.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —Stormwater improvements are planned for this week throughout the Philly region, including one project in the township that is expected to take more than a month.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that stormwater improvements are planned on several state highways in Bucks, Delaware, and Montgomery counties under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.

- Monday, May 13, through late June, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday lane closure is scheduled in both directions on Route 213 (Old Lincoln Highway/Maple Avenue) between Woodbourne Road and Wheeler Way in Middletown Township for stormwater replacement.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
