Family Uses Fishing Boat To Find Swimmer Who Drowned In The Delaware
The family of a man who went missing in the Delaware River in Bristol located his body Tuesday using their own fishing boat.

The family of a Virginia man who went missing while swimming in the Delaware River Sunday was not going to stop until they found their loved one’s body.
On Tuesday evening, they did just that— using their own fishing boat, reports say.
The body of Marquis Richardson, 22, was found by his brother and cousin near the Bristol Wharf, the Bucks County Courier Times reported.

They reportedly found his body while using a small fishing boat about 1,000 feet from where he was last seen Sunday, when he jumped into the Delaware River for a swim around 10 a.m.
He was seen struggling and went under, the Courier Times reported.

The Point Pleasant Dive Team, multiple Bucks County fire departments and New Jersey State Police conducted a search, which was suspended Sunday due to rough currents.
But his family wasn’t going to stop until they found him.
“I wasn’t leaving here until I found my son,” said Sam Richardson, Marquis’ father, told NBC10. “He’s in my heart. He’s in my spirit. He’ll always be my little man. I love him to death. And we got him out of that damn water.”
Authorities were called after the Tuesday evening discovery, and the coroner and police responded.
The family told NBC10 they were frustrated by the lack of help from officials. “We didn’t get no help at all. And it’s very frustrating,” Richardson’s aunt told the news network.
