UW Bucks Hosts Holiday Gift Card Drive For Teens in Need
Looking for a way to give back this holiday? UW Bucks is collecting gift cards for older kids who are missed by conventional toy drives.
The United Way of Bucks County is hosting a holiday gift card drive for teens whose families are struggling during the holidays. These gift cards will take the place of donations from toy drives, which usually miss the mark for older children.
The drive has just been extended to run until Monday, December 22. All gift cards can be dropped off at UW Bucks’ Lower Bucks office at 413 Hood Blvd, Fairless Hills, PA 19030. Donations can also be made by mailing in a check with “Gift Card Drive” in the memo line, or online at www.uwbucks.org/donate.
UW Bucks wants to ensure kids are receiving gift cards that align with their interests. They suggest gift cards to trendy stores, fast food restaurants, or other places that teens frequent. A list of suggestions can be found at www.uwbucks.org/giftcarddrive.
