Woman Sets Fire Inside Bristol Twp. Police Station: PD
Bristol Township Police have charged a woman with arson after she caused a small fire at the police station on Tuesday morning.
BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —A 23-year-old woman has been charged with arson after setting a small fire inside the township's police station Tuesday morning, police said.
Bristol Twp. Police Lt. Sean Cosgrove said that around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sgt. Dennis Leighton detected the odor of something burning in the police station at 2505 Bath Rd.
He investigated and found an adult woman, whom police had a recent prior interaction with, sitting on the floor in the lobby, tending to a small fire.

The fire was extinguished, police said.
The unnamed woman was taken into custody and charged with arson, institutional vandalism, and disorderly conduct. She was arraigned at 4 a.m. by District Justice Lisa Gaier, who set bail at $100,000 with 10 percent.

Police said the woman was taken to the Bucks County Prison, instead of bail.
