Spring-Ford Area High School NHS Students Raise Funds for "Field of Pink"

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month Spring-Ford Senior High School National Honor Society (NHS) students held a special fundraiser to raise breast cancer awareness. Students sold pink flags to display in their “field of pink” at in the entrance of SFAHS.

SFAHS NHS collected over $1,100 for the Cancer Patient Assistance Fund at Phoenixville Hospital in 2013, and the organization hoped to double that total this year.

After overwhelming support from the student population and the community, the group exceeded their goal and raised $2,659!
