Spring-Ford Elementary Schools Participate in Fire Prevention Week Activities

Elementary schools throughout Spring-Ford Area School District are participating in fire prevention activities during National Fire Prevention Week. Their schedules are:

Upper Providence Elementary School Assemblies – October 3, 2014; 9:20 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. (break from 11:10-11:30 a.m. and 12:25-1:15 p.m.)
Brooke Elementary School Assemblies by Linfield Fire Company – October 8, 2014; 9:10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (break from 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.)
Oaks Elementary School Fire House Walking Tour at Oaks Fire Company – October 8, 2014; 9:10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (break from 12-12:30 p.m.)
Evans Elementary School Assemblies by Limerick Fire Company – October 8, 2014; 9:15 a.m. to 3:05 p.m.
Limerick Elementary School Assemblies by Limerick Fire Company – October 9, 2014; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (break from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.)
Spring City Elementary School Assemblies by Liberty Fire Company – October 10, 2014; 9:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Royersford Elementary School Assemblies by the Friendship Fire Company – October 10, 2014; 9:15 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. (break from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)

National Fire Prevention Week is observed from October 5 through October 11. During the week families are encouraged to focus on promoting fire safety and prevention by teaching kids that matches, lighters and candles are tools, not toys.
