Spring-Ford To Rename TV Studio In Honor Of Steve Bonetz
Spring-Ford will rename their TV studio in honor of the late Steve Bonetz, the beloved "Voice of Spring-Ford."

LIMERICK, PA — Spring-Ford will rename their TV production unit in honor of the late Steve Bonetz, the beloved "Voice of Spring-Ford."
The motion was introduced by Spring-Ford School District board President Joe Ciresi at a recent meeting.
"Steve was a big part of Spring-Ford and all of our lives. I was honored to be able to make the motion to dedicated the TV studio at Spring-Ford in his name," Ciresi said.

Bonetz, who passed suddenly at age 46 in early June, was a widely respected and loved part of the district's athletic department for many years.
He was a 1990 graduate of Spring-Ford, who, after a career as a sports reporter covering the Phillies, Flyers, 76ers, and Eagles, began managing Spring-Ford's cable channel, Ram Country TV.

He was in charge of producing video of sporting events, covering board meetings, and producing various district television shows.
During Bonetz's illustrious career he won numerous awards, including the Robert Buckanavage Citation Award from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Director's Association, just this past March.
Contributions in Bonetz's memory may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church at 548 Old Swede Road, Douglassville. The funds collected will be used to further the education of Steve's children and to start a scholarship fund in Steve's name at Spring-Ford.
