Spring-Ford Schools Close Early Monday

ROYERSFORD, PA -- The Spring-Ford Area School District will close early Monday due to the coming storm, officials announced.

With a wintry mix of sleet and snow planned to hit the area between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., grades seven through 12 were dismissed at 11 a.m.

Kindergarten through sixth grade, meanwhile, will be dismissed at noon.

Afternoon kindergarten, as well as after-school and evening activities, have been canceled, the district said.

Y Care is scheduled to close at 2 p.m.

A winter weather advisory has been issued in Eastern Pennsylvania, the National Weather Service said.
