Spring-Ford SNAP Invites Community Members to Post-Prom Preview

Spring-Ford SNAP Invites Community Members to Post-Prom Preview

Spring-Ford Students Need an Alternate Party (SNAP) parent volunteers, with the support of the Spring-Ford community, have spent the past 10 months preparing for the annual SNAP Post-Prom Party. The 2015 Post-Prom theme is Into the Unreal – Where Fantasy Becomes Reality. Thanks to the hard work of volunteers and community members, SFAHS juniors and seniors will experience a night they’ll never forget, as the high school is transformed into a true fantasy land. Attendees will have a sweet experience in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, fly through Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, journey into Narnia and even travel to a galaxy far, far away.

To extend their sincere thanks, SNAP volunteers would like to invite the Spring-Ford community to attend a very special Community Walk Through Night, in appreciation for their ongoing support. The Community Walk Through Night is open to all Spring-Ford community members, families and children of all ages. Community members will get to participate in many of the Post-Prom activities that SFAHS students will enjoy, including:
• Testing of the inflatables, the first few jumps are the best!
• Playing arcade games and possibly setting High Scores before Post-Prom attendees arrive!
• Visiting the Walk of Fame and writing a note to your favorite SFAHS senior.
• And, best of all, seeing how the Spring-Ford community comes together to support our students!

More about Spring-Ford SNAP: SNAP is a group of Spring-Ford Area School District parents and community members working with the Spring Ford Education Foundation in an effort to provide a spectacular FREE post-prom event for all Spring-Ford Area High School juniors and seniors, whether they attend the prom or not. The annual post-prom party provides a safe post-prom alternative, focusing on the safety of SFASD students and the Spring-Ford community.

Prom night is statistically one of the most dangerous nights of the year for high school students. SNAP is committed to keeping the Spring-Ford community safe and free from drug and alcohol-related tragedy.
