ROYERSFORD, PA — Steve Bonetz, a beloved member of the Spring-Ford community and the creator of RCTV, has passed away suddenly, school officials confirmed. Bonetz, a 1990 graduate of Spring-Ford, has been a widely loved and respected part of the athletic department for years.

"This morning we received the shocking and awful news that Steve Bonetz, a colleague, a man who built RCTV, a friend and backer of Spring-Ford football, and a Ram through and through tragically and suddenly passed away too soon," the Spring-Ford Rams Football page said in a statement of mourning. "Most importantly, Steve was an excellent man, caring father, and noble friend."

Bonetz went on to play baseball for Kutztown University, receiving a Bachelor's degree in telecommunications and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, according to the school district.
