Videos Show Spring-Ford Teacher Moonlighting As Nazi Wrestler
Videos show Spring-Ford teacher Kevin Bean chanting "Sieg hiel" and giving the Nazi salute. A man in the crowd returns the salute.

ROYERSFORD, PA — A teacher in the Spring-Ford Area School District is the subject of a school investigation after video footage surfaced of his after-school activities: portrayal of a Nazi character as an independent wrestler.
Kevin Bean, 36, transforms into "Blitzkrieg, the German Juggernaut" for the amateur World Wide Wrestling Association, as PhillyVoice first reported last week. In videos of his performances, Bean can be seen giving the Nazi salute. He shouts "Sieg hiel, Blitzkrieg." He waves a flag with the German Iron Cross.
The video which spurred the discovery was taken at a recent event in Quakertown. It shows Bean come out from behind curtains waving the flag into a small, tightly packed, dark room with a wrestling stage in the middle and the crowd standing along the walls. He is pitted as the anti-American enemy of another wrestler, not yet on the stage. Some patrons jeer the character, while at least one man is shown in the video returning the Nazi salute.

"This video makes me sick," Ryan Satin, a writer with the industry publication Wrestling Sheet, wrote in a tweet sharing the clip.
It's not yet clear what will happen to Bean, who teaches in the Intermediate School. In a statement issued Wednesday morning, the district said that an investigation is underway.

"The actions portrayed in this video do not represent the core values of the school district," Erin Crew, a spokesperson for the district, said in an email. "As an educational organization, we pride ourselves in providing a safe and nurturing learning environment."
The story has since spread across the country, with national outlets like the Washington Post and Vice picking it up.
"Spring-Ford Area School District was made aware of a video featuring an employee, outside of the school setting, participating in an amateur wrestling event," the district's statement continued. "Once administrators were made aware of the video they acted immediately to conduct an ongoing internal investigation. As this is a personnel matter, further details will not be addressed publicly."
In another very similar video, recorded during an April 2017 event in Boyerstown, Bean's character trash talks the crowd, pointing to all the signs. "It means there are more stupid people more stupid Americans, in Boyertown than I thought," he says.
In an interview with The Blast, Dino Sanna, the owner of the World Wide Wrestling Association, said that the character had been a popular villain at shows for some time, and spoke highly of Bean as a person.
"He is a good guy and not a hateful person," he said. "Everyone has a gimmick, it's wrestling."
Bean has been an employee of the district since 2004.

This video makes me sick.
Watching the guy do nazi salutes on his way to the ring while children in the crowd cheer him on like a good guy is terrifying. pic.twitter.com/wheTXDyAah
