Swing by Krocks for a Good Bite to Eat

is one of my favorite local spots.  I especially love it in the summertime when their outdoor bar and seating area called “The Hut” is open.  It’s a great place to grab a bite to eat and a beer with your friends (even when summer is long gone); they have a pretty extensive golf-themed menu and some decent beers on tap (like Sam Adams, Labatt Blue, Blue Moon, and Guinness).

On the menu, there are plenty of appetizers (like Homemade Chicken Fingers, Santa Fe Eggrolls, and Rangoons) and a list of different fries and nachos, if you’re looking for something to snack on. 

As far as meals go, Krocks features a ton of sandwiches and burgers.  They’ve got over a dozen sandwiches (like the Krab Kake, Green Fee Sub, and various steak sandwiches) and a whole slew of burgers (like the Pizza Burger, Honey BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, and Bogey Bison Burger).  For you salad lovers: there aren’t too many, but the ones they do have (like the Sand Bagger Chef or the Takeaway Taco) are served in tortilla bowls.  Yum!

And if you’re still not satisfied, you can go classic with wings or shrimp in seven different sauces, or just make your own personal-sized pizza.

Plus, Krocks always has food and drink specials.  On Tuesdays you can get a dozen clams for 99 cents (from 5-9) and a $2.00 Miller Lite bottle.  And if you’re bored, they’ve got a pool table, a dartboard, and shuffleboard.

My meal:  A Blue Moon and a Chicken Breast sandwich served with homemade chips. A 5/5 from me.
