Join the festivities Saturday, September 26 at Orchard Artworks starting at 1pm when the Hillbillies of Cohesion Band kicks off the Johnny Appleseed Festival.
The celebration continues until 4 pm as the Alnwick Grove Historical Society hosts a storytelling Johnny Appleseed, a corn sheller and an apple cider press. Orchard Artworks is at 520 Tomlinson Road in Bryn Athyn, PA.
Throughout the afternoon, you may see artists demonstrating their crafts - knitting garments, weaving baskets, making clay and working with fabrics. Come early, bring a picnic lunch and buy apple treats for dessert.

While at the festival, you can see the group show “Autumn in the Orchard,” at the Orchard Artworks’ gallery. Some of the fine art and contemporary crafts will highlight fall colors, harvest themes or feature apples.
