LOWER MORELAND, PA — Kermit has officially graduated.

The first-ever K9 dog employed by the Lower Moreland Police Department finished patrol school at the Penn Vet Working Dog Center in Philadelphia on Nov. 19.

The township took to social media recently to congratulate Kermit and Sierra Volkert, the human officer who serves as Kermit's handler, for their accomplishments.
