"Our academics are amazing," one senior recently wrote. "They are challenging for us to be prepared for college experience. The teachers are so helpful. If a student is having trouble, they will take their time to help us do better. Whats so great about this school is that they really help us prepare for college. Once you become a junior, they have many meetings with the students to help guide them"

To compile the ranking, 50 percent was based on parent and student surveys on health and safety. Student absenteeism, suspensions and expulsions were also factored into the rankings, well as percentage of students referred to law enforcement and school-related arrests.
