Our Styer Campus, on Lower Dolington Road, boasts raised-bed gardens and walking paths for resident enjoyment. The full calendar of resident-informed programming features lectures, wellness classes, discussion groups and cultural events to promote residents’ intellectual, physical and social well-being. If needed, Friends Village provides our residents with flexible, affordable support in their own apartments through its NeighborCare program. By using our long-tenured and dedicated staff, it is a home care service without the onerous minimum hours or uncertain staffing of agencies. And if care needs increase further, personal care is available in our historic Paxson Hall. What truly sets Friends Village apart is the warm sense of community. LOWER MORELAND, PA — Lower Moreland School District has been named among the safest school districts in the state, according to a new study. The rankings come from <a href="https://www.niche.com/k12/rankings/public-school-districts/safest/s/pennsylvania/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Niche.com</a>, an organization which utilizes public information and reviews to produce school rankings in a wide variety of categories. Specifically, the 2017 "safest districts" measure looked at student and parent ratings of health and safety, crime in the area, school rates of expulsion and suspension, and arrests which took place at the school. Lower Moreland was named 42nd safest overall in the state. The safest district in both Pennsylvania and the United States, according to the list, is nearby Radnor Township School District.
