Police In Lower Moreland Arrest Man In Connection With Theft Of Catalytic Converter
The theft happened back in August. Lower Moreland Police obtained a warrant to arrest Nazair Robbins, who was at Delaware County Prison.

LOWER MORELAND, PA — Local police have announced the arrest of a man they say was part of a theft crew who stole a catalytic converter from a vehicle that was parked in the township this summer.
Nazair Robbins, no address given, is facing various charges including theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property, in connection with his alleged involvement in the theft of a catalytic converter from a parked vehicle back on Aug. 30.
Lower Moreland Police say that officers had been dispatched around 3:30 p.m. on that day to an area of Kent Road for a report of suspicious activity.

Witnesses had reported the presence of a dark-colored sedan, possibly an Audi, parked near a Toyota Prius, and that a handful of individuals had lifted the Prius and began sawing off a part from the car, according to police.
Further investigation revealed that the catalytic converter had been removed from the Prius.

Detectives combing over the Prius were able to find a palm print, which state police labs confirmed belonged to Robbins, police stated.
Lower Moreland Police obtained an arrest warrant for Robbins, and he was subsequently taken into custody.
Police say at the time of his arrest, Robbins was already being held at the Delaware County Prison on unrelated charges.
No court records appear to be uploaded as of yet to the state court website, but Lower Moreland Police say Robbins is being charged with theft from a motor vehicle, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.
