Weekend Planner: Dr. Seuss, Prom Fashion Show and More

March is here. Why not welcome it by having some fun this weekend? Here are some options.

Where/when: , 501 Churchville Ln., Southampton, Friday, 7:30 p.m.
Why go: Check out planets and winter constellations and finish off the evening with a campfire and marshmallows. This event requires clear skies and charts will be provided.
Cost: $5

Where/when: , 1225 W Street Rd., Warminster, Friday at 6 p.m.
Why go:  Tickets include - 20 games of Bingo with chef’s choice hors’ d’ouvre buffet and beer & wine bar from 6:30-9:30 PM. (Must be 21 to Play/Enter). Proceeds from this fun night will benefit the building fund for Warminster Community Park. Prizes will include Longaberger® feature and retired baskets, as well as products from the regular line.

Where/when: , 625 Red Lion Rd., Huntingdon Valley, Saturday starting at 10:30 a.m.
Why go: Read to therapy dogs! The sessions are 15 minutes starting at 10:30 a.m. Sign up for your time at the Circulation desk. It’s open to all!
Cost: Free

Where/when: , 899 Horsham Rd., Horsham, Sunday, 1 p.m.
Why go: This fundraiser for the school’s post-prom includes a fashion show and all sorts of prom-related vendors.
Cost: Students - $5 in advance, $7 at the door. Adults are $10. Make checks payable to HHHS Post Prom.

Where/when: , 345 Newtown Richboro Rd., Richboro, Friday at 7 p.m.
Why go: Match favorite Seuss characters & books all in a row and you may have the chance to shout "BINGO"! There will be "Seussical" prizes and a few birthday games, too. Cake and ice cream, it wouldn't be a party without you! So come one and come all, You'll have a ball!
