Delivery packages containing cell phones continue to be specifically targeted in Collegeville and the surrounding area, police said.
LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Delivery packages containing cell phones continue to be specifically targeted in Collegeville and the surrounding area, police said.
The incidents began in mid-May and are most commonly AT&T sold by FedEx, police said.

Lower Providence police issued a new warning on Monday morning, noting another "recent uptick."

Police recommended that residents not buy cell phones online, but use a store instead. They added that if delivery must occur, to require a signature.
